A name that reflected our origins

When the brand was born under the name Drôles de Marmots, our collections were exclusively dedicated to toddlers, from 6 to 36 months. At that time, this childlike, tender, and joyful name made perfect sense. It immediately resonated with parents and reflected our desire to create comfortable, playful, and high-quality swimwear for babies. But very quickly, the adventure grew in scope.

A brand that grows with its customers

Over the seasons, we have expanded our collections. After babies, we developed designs for children, then for adults. Our vision has become more comprehensive: to dress the whole family, while maintaining a strong, elegant, and vibrant identity.

This is how the matchy-matchy universe was born, becoming a true signature of the brand. Coordinated swimsuits for mothers and children, fathers and little ones, or even for all siblings. A way to create holiday memories, celebrate family bonds, and share a common style.

With this evolution, the name Drôles de Marmots no longer fully reflected our positioning. It mainly evoked early childhood, whereas our world now appealed to all ages.

Gaiabela: a more just and timeless identity

The choice of Gaiabela was a natural one. A less childish, more elegant name that reflects our Mediterranean inspiration, our love of the sun, and the Italian way of life. Gaiabela embodies a brand that accompanies families through the years, from their first summers to holidays shared between adults and children.

Although the name changes, our commitments remain unchanged.
